Hi All,

While trying to synchronize the database for AX 2012 R3 with SQL server, we are receiving an error

"Failed to create a session,  confirm that the user has proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics".

we are using "admin" user for synchronization process and the user having full access to the Database.

We have tried below steps,

1. Deleted the .AUC files and restarted the AX service.

2. Deleted the .XppIL files and restarted the Service.

3. Generated the Incremental CIL and tried to synch the DB.

But no luck. Any help?

Thanks,

    refer this blog.

    For temp workaround try below

open any form click on Tools > Options > Development

uncheck execute business operation in CIL

    Hi Riaz,

Check whether the particular user is imported in AX and check the UserInfo table whether the particular user have imported and mapped with correct SID.

Also, check whether C Drive have memory space to allocate memory for user login.

    Thanks,

Is this happening with your Prod or Non -Prod Instances?

Can you please let me know how did you solve above issue? I'm also facing same issue and did try with all possible solutions proposed in blogs.

    Hi Ajit,

It's a new environment, currently we have only one user access and that is "Admin" only.

Yes, AX service is running with the same user.

Yes, we have checked that event viewer, but there is no specific information related to sync error.

    Thanks,

Is this issue specific to an admin ? I mean did you try with any other admin account? Can you try with the same account you are running AX service? And also check event viewer if you can find something there.

    Hi Vilmos,

We have checked the stored procedures with compare to another working instance. It looks like everything is available.

Also, we have cleared the AOT objects cache data, stopped the AOS, deleted the sysclientsessions table data and deleted the .AUC files and tried to do synchronization. but no luck again same error.

    Thanks,

That's fine, but did you verify if you are actually not missing any of those stored procedures? Compare it against a Demo VM.

Also try emptying the SysClientSessions table while the AOS is stopped.

Finally, remove your *.AUC files from your user profile where the AX client is running, to ensure that you have no old AOT objects in the cache.

RE: Failed to create a session, confirm that the user has proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics.

    Hi Vilmos & Solomon,

    Thanks for the response.

We have only one user "Admin" having full rights for AOS and. Also both are in the same server.

Initially, while doing DB synchronization, system showed synch failed for two table. Because of some duplicates in the standard table and having one primary unique index. we found some records are created in that table with null index value (empty).

we deleted those null records from the table and we put synchronization again.

After that, system started to show error "Failed to create a session,  confirm that the user has proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics".

Initially it starts synch successfully, after some time (20-30 mins), it throws the error.

Admin user having full rights and same user mapped with system service accounts.

AX service is running with the admin user privileges.

In DB side, we gave full permissions to all related Databases and stored procedures.

    Thanks,

RE: Failed to create a session, confirm that the user has proper privileges to log on to Microsoft Dynamics.

You mention the account "admin" has DB access.  Do both AX accounts, Principle (account running the AOS) and BC account have AX access as well?

Also, is this a newly created or reset environment?  Is the system service account set in the System Administration module the correct account?
