Can anyone tell me where I can call to ask if our license is valid, because I think that our partner diden't bye the license, we have the last year been running on dev. license, and every time I ask them that they have to install our own license they come with some story.

Phoning Microsoft dosen'r work, they say that i Have to concact our partner,, but here is the problem.

Anyone ??

TharangaC : Without knowing the full details and naming names, there is only so much that can be done here. Perhaps it's true that the partner did not buy a software license from Microsoft, meaning that there is no contractual relationship between Henrik T's company and Microsoft.

I offered to have the Partner of record transferred to my company - probably others did the same. If Microsoft EOC replied "we don't know this company", we'd have the answer. Let's see if Henrik T still wants to do something about this or at least have the courtesy to reply.

Why don't your company officially make a complain to Microsoft about this issue? This will be a issue when you plan for your next upgrade.  If you does not have an AEP (Annual enhancement plan) then you will have to pay huge sum of money back to Microsoft for new licence. So make a official complain to microsoft via e-mail and get things sorted.

Do your country have a Microsoft branch? If so Microsoft must have a representative in there for ERP section. Try to reach him/her and sort this out. I am sure they will be able to help you on this.

I think as Jens mentioned, your CEO need to make a phone call to your partner's CEO. Even if that did not helped then I do suggest you to change your partner. You will not be able to work with a partner that you cannot trust.

Do You have a customer source account id?

You can also logged case with microsoft and tell them that you are using the partner license and need to have your own license.

Please let us know your region so we can provide the microsoft contact information.

    Hi Henrik,

sounds like your boss / CEO needs to talk to the boss / CEO of the partner. Maybe with legal counsel appointed, just in case. Microsoft won't interfere before it has come to this level.

But a thing to check first would be if you can download your license file from Customersource. You need an account on Customersource for this, which you normally get from your NAV Partner. If they refuse to ive you an account, see above.

with best regards and best of luck

    Jens
