Yes, this is called a repeating order and you must first setup an order type that is marked as a repeating order, under the Sales Order Setup window. Typically, this order type will need to allow transfer to back order and you will need to select a back order ID for it. Once you have created the order type to allow repeating orders, you will then select the Sales Transaction Entry window and choose the Order ID document you just created. Once you've selected the item and enter all the pertinent line item information (for example, if you need to ship 100 units 10 times, enter 100), click on document expansion button to open the Sales Document Detain Entry window where you will Mark Repeating and the number of times to repeat (i.e., 10) the order and frequency (i.e., monthly, etc.). Close the window and that's it.

As I said, you first have to setup a repeating order type. Go to Sales > Setup > Sales Order Processing and click on the Sales Documents Setup button and choose Order.

You cannot Allocate by Line item (which is the default). Change your allocation method to Document/Batch or None. The repeating checkbox will become available after you change the allocation method.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
