Hi All
We have some items which will no longer in USE so we need to put the Unit cost of those item to 0
We are using FIFO
So how can i update the Item UNIT cost to have Zero cost ?
If you still have inventory, you can use item revaluation journal.
item revaluation journal. is not updating the Unit cost in the Item Card
is some thing i misunderstand ?
Revaluation journal should do the job.
Once you complete posting Revaluation journal then go to item card and on unit cost click on the triple dots (assist edit) and see the last entry if you have anything on Revaluation side.

After posting the Revaluation Journal make sure you run Adjust Cost/Item Entries and Post Inventory to G/L.
