Does anyone know if we can automate release wave updates from CLI or rest api?? we have bunch of crm instances and clicking update on each of them and checking status is lots of time consuming process.

    Hey Sanjeev.

The idea behind the "click update button" is to have a preview of the functionalities.  If you don't update "manually", the Wave will be deployed automatically according to Microsoft Calendar published on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/general-availability-deployment#deployment-schedule

i agree but when you have bunch of instances to update (even for testing), it does take time to hit update and keep checking the status.

Have you considered using a Power Automate DESKTOP flow (the "RPA" type flow)?
