Record in table G/L Entry locked

Bussines Central is extremely slow. In addition, when I try to post a payment and reconcile a bank account I get the following message (we only have one session open):

We could not update the data right now. Please try again later. Technical details: A record in table G/L Entry was locked for use in another session. Administrators can see current locks on the Database Locks page or use telemetry. (Snapshot ID: e240eacd-1684-447c-bc1d-e174f26021d8)

Is this a global issue? Can anyone help me with this?

    Hii

    This the global issue of locking the table. It is happening because of the other user process with same table. It will disappear when process will completed.

    The problem is that there is no other user using Business Central.

    Other user doesn't literally translate to another user. It could be your own user, but on different session / background task. Or it could be a job queue (scheduler) or an API call from third party.

    Same thing is happening to me where I have a JOB queue running in Background which fetches data from Dynamics 365 CRM on job table but I dont know sometime when I am working on puchase order table it is giving errror that "we cannot save your data due to a record is modified in another table by another transaction"

    this is not an issue but BC is telling user to wait until the ongoing task finishes so user could post. usually user wait and try again to post.
