The CRM ribbon disappears from Microsoft Outlook 2013

Hi,

The CRM ribbon in my Outlook 2013 keeps disappearing.

I have numerous times tried to un-install and re-install CRM only to learn that the ribbon disappears after a week or so.

I have followed the KB 322756 and deleted the 2.4 registry key, but this has not helped - the problem remains.

I am using CRM online with Outlook 2013 and Windows 8.

Hope you can help

    Hello,

    Is the CRM online 2011 or 2013.

    Please check if we have any third party add-in in the Outlook other than CRM. If yes then disable those third party add-ns and see if the issue occurs.

    Is the issue with all users.

    For the issue in Outlook you can try the steps below

    - Close the outlook.

    - See if we have the 2.6 registry key under the location HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{2DF8D04C-5BFA-101B-BDE5-00AA0044DE52}

    - If yes, kindly take the back up of the registry - Right-click the 2.6 registry key, and then select Export. Save the export to your desktop to create a backup.

    - Delete registry key 2.6.

    - Launch the Outlook again .

    - See if we are able to see the ribbon for CRM.

    Hi Aftab,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    I am using CRM Online 2011.

    I have deleted registry key 2.6 and the ribbon is there. So far so good... :-)

    I will give it a week or so to see whether the problem persists or is gone - the ribbon normally disappears after a week or so.
