Not All Assigned Dimensions Showing in the DimensionSetEntries Table

We are in the process of migrating from GP to Business Central. I have been working on pulling some data into new PBI reports. I am getting dimension data on GL account for the report using the DimensionSetEntries table. The problem is that while all of our GL account have dimensions assigned to them only three of the GL accounts are showing as having dimensions in that table. When I say GL accounts in reference to the DimensionSetEntries table, I am referring to the Dimension_Set_ID field in the table.

    Hello rrhutch,

For every Dimension Code that is assigned to the G/L account, you will have one row in the Dimension Set Entry table in Business Central.
You will need to list all Dimension Values from all rows for one Dimension Set ID so that you have all dimension values for one Dimension Set ID.

I tried to post a transaction that will have more than 3 dimensions, and I got a newly generated Dimension Set ID in the Dimension Set Entry table.
You can assign new dimension values for the G/L account and try to post some transactions using those accounts and see if a new Dimension Set ID will be created.
If you have more questions please give us more detailed information about this case.
    Greetings

It is a business central topic. I have reposted in that forum.

    Hi,

You posted your question in the Dynamics 365 general forum, where it possibly belongs to the GP or BC forum. Can you clarify if the DimensionSetEntries table belongs to GP or BC?
