Dear community,

I try to import notes via cvs file. The cvs file is ver simple just inclding "owner"; "titel" ; "description" ; "Account name".

The mapping to the notes entity looks fine. However I'm receiving the following error.

Do you have any idea what cloud be the error source?

    Hi Ralf_WiFa,

What entity record did you open? And then this error pop-up appears?

As this error says, the error appears when you try to open some entity record that does not have a main form, which is by design.

You mentioned that you are trying to import records, I'm reasonably guessing that you are trying to open importLog records?

    For example:

This is by-design that this entity(importLog) doesn't have any form and isn't allowed to be customized.

End user can view the log from the default view only.

Thanks for your reply - now I understood the error. It was my mistake interpreating the error message.

Unfortunately the root cause of my issue is not solved. Trying to import the notes is causing an error as the Lookup can  not be resolved.

Maybe someone can share some best practive in connection with a "Lookup resolving problems".

    THANKS

    Hi Partner,

You mentioned that there is one column--Account name, it should map to regarding field of the note entity when you import records.

Firstly, you need ensure that the account exist in the CRM before the import.

Then you need ensure that the value of mapping column you select is unique:

--If you select account name, it shouldn't have duplicate account name in your CRM.
