CRM Dynamics 2013 - Limitation on Attachments

Is it possible to save multiple attachments to the Note component of an Activity? We have set up a number of Custom Activities but when I create a Note in the Activity it only allows me to save one attachment. To associate multiple attachments to an Activity it appears that I have to create a corresponding number of Notes in the Activity. Can someone please confirm? Thank you.
