I'm getting following error on customization projects when I try to build it. Please help.

The command "REM SET AssemblyVersionDefinitionFile= REM SET AssemblyVersionName= "C:\Praveen\CRM2016SDK\SDK\Bin\SolutionPackager.exe" -a:pack -z:"bin\Debug\CrmSolutions.Process.zip" -f:"obj\Debug\\BeforeLoc"" exited with code 3.

You might know the answer by now. But if anyone is looking, here is the solution

Unload your customization project and edit in notepad. you will see

<SolutionPackagerDir>C:\365SDK\Sdk\SDK\Bin</SolutionPackagerDir>

<SolutionLocToolsDir>C:\365SDK\Sdk\SDK\Bin</SolutionLocToolsDir>

Change the path C:\365SDK\Sdk\SDK\Bin, your local system Bin folder you should be good.

Orelse

Create a similar bin folder structure in your machine.

Hi jasonRoberts,

Unfortunately didn't find any solution.But it works sometimes if you delete and recreate the project or restarts the visual studio.But this is not the ideal solution.
