Dear all,

I'm trying to delete a project, therefore i get the error below :

I tried everything with the advanced find, the issue is related with the real amounts are associated to the project :

Do you have an idea how to delete it please ?

Hi Archetype,

You can checkthe relationships between the project entity and other entities where the relationship behavior is ‘restrict delete’.

Go Settings > Customizations > Customize the system > Entities > Project > 1:N relationships.

You can narrow down which entities (and hence which records) you need to break the relationship with based on the behavior.

then you can delete these entities' records related to the project that you need delete before deleting project records.

Hi Leah Ju,

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately i did that but the problem is, 2 users has submitted and approved their time entries. So i get the error : "You can't delete this project it is related with the real amounts that are associated to the project"

If i change the type of behavior from "referentiel,restriction delete" to "Restriction" and i delete the project and bring back the values of the modified fields to "referentiel,restriction delete", there is no impact of doing that ?

Hi Archetype,

As you mentioned, “2 users has submitted and approved their time entries.”

I approved one time entry related to one project firstly, then I tries to delete the project, the following error dialog appeared.

The following document mentioned the reason for not being able to delete actuals.

Why can’t I delete records from the actuals entity? | Microsoft Docs

As such, Actuals are sacred and deleting them should always be your last resort.
