Filtering Multiple Date Ranges in Chart of Accounts

Hello,

I'm trying to filter the chart of accounts for revenue during a calendar year for a client that has a fiscal year that ends in June. Filtering simply for 1/1/2023 through 12/31/2023 doesn't work because it has the closing entries on C6/30/2023 included. However, I can't exclude that date in my filtering. Something like:  "010123..123123&<>C063023" doesn't work because it's multiple ranges. I get the error:

The filter expression "01/01/23..12/31/23&<>C06/30/23" applied to the field Date Filter in the G/L Account table results in more than one range.

Image below if it shows up:

Is there a way to filter within BC for multiple date ranges? It also doesn't work for something as simple as 010123|010223 where I want both days. It only allows me to do a range with the two dots ".." but is there a way to have a second range? The only other solution I've found is to do the range through 6/30/23 and then add that to July through December (or do the full year and subtract out C6/30/23). I feel like there should be a way to get this info without having to do extra math on the side

Thanks,

Jared

As far as I know its not possible in the Chart of Accounts Page to filter on two date ranges, perhaps other users will have more insight.

One option is to use the General Ledger Entries Page instead, in there in the Posting Date field you can have two date ranges as a filter. You can then use Analysis Mode to sum up the Amount column for you.

Hi, Can you skip this day? For example, "01/01/23..06/29/23&07/01/23..12/31/23".
If this is not possible, you may need to export 01/01/23..12/31/23 first, then exclude C06/30/23 in Excel

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.
