Reassign workflows

Hi,

I have one requirement. One of the employee has left the organization.  There are so many workflows are pending for him to approve. Now i have to reassign the workflow to new user one by one. Also we don't want to recall all and users need to submit them again.

With System admin role:-

1. Is there any way to select all pending workflow and reassign to new user in one time.
2. I have update the new user as delegation in user option of old user. Is there any way all pending items of old user can delegate to new user by any process.
3. Is there any way to view all pending work items of any user with system admin role, then i can delegate all.

Thankyou very much in advance.

    Hi D365 Functional,

This is a cumbersome part of the workflows. Out of the box, there is no support for quickly moving all pending workflows to another user.

As a system administrator, you would be able to use the table browser to check the table WorkflowWorkItemTable and filter on items assigned to the particular user.

You can open the table browser by changing the URL: {your_environment}.dynamics.com/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=WorkflowWorkItemTable

    Hi André / Hi Billur

Thankyou very much for valuable confirmation. I understand that all workflows needs to reassign one by one.

    Hi D365 Functional,

You can also try below example if it helps!

You can delegate multiple work items at a time.
