OK, so I am trying to configure claims-based authentication for my 2011 CRM org. so that I can enable IFD. I have been following this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD5qaa-G99E) as well as the Microsoft white paper 'Configuring Claims-Based Authentication (v5.1.0)'.
I was able to run the configuration wizard and publish all the metadata and tested the ADFS links and everything works. However, when I try to access the newly configured https site I am prompted for credentials by my ADFS server (note: CRM and ADFS are on seperate servers). I tried adding the SPN as suggested in the white paper but sitll no luck. One thing to consider is that I am specifying port 5443 for my secure site, as once I turn IFD on, I do not want it to conflict with my webmail server which our firewall is currently forwarding to 443.

I have the same question (0)Not sure exactly how I fixed this, but it was a combination of updating the identifiers in ADFS and iisreset on the CRM box.
Uggh...
