We have an ancient Solomon IV installation and I am trying to rebuild the development platform for it. So far I've been able to install Solomon IV itself and it works, but after installing Solomon IV VBTools I cannot get the licensing to "take". I have the three binary files containing the licensing, and have added them to the Windows folder in the same way as the Solomon IV licensing files. This used to work when done exactly this way, but it doesn't work now. I am in a quandary. The users want a modification to the system, but if I cannot get VBTools licensing to "take" then I will not be able to do the work. I'm working this on a Windows XP virtual workstation (already tried in on Windows 7 and Windows 2003 Server). Same issue for all of them: "Line 527: Cannot load control SAFNewTab; license not found."
Nobody knows this stuff any longer, but hope springs eternal!
