Pin is gone to set default in view

Posted on by 2,645

Hello,

I noticed that to set a default view, you have to click set default as there is no more pin icon to click on.  Was this a change in the latest MS release?  If yes, where can I go to find this change on their site to see what else has changed as I tried to look for it, but couldn't find it.

Thank you,

    Hi,

Yes, it has been changed in 2021 wave 2 release.

This may not be as convenient as the original operation, but it is obviously clearer in terms of definition.

However, it is not mentioned in the release plan documentation and other view-related changes in the new version can be found in the following documentation.

New column options in grid view page | Microsoft Docs

Of course, if you are still not satisfied with this change, please post your proposal to Ideas forum to drive it to be voted and improved.
