Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if someone know why the Quantity Field is defaulted to Deliver now. is it normal? is it possible to change it? where and how can I change the set up for this in AX? and what are the implications for leaving it vs changing it.
Thanks,

Hi,
from where do you call the dialog? Out of a sales order or for example out of a load? When you call it from a load for example, this behaviour is hardcoded as i remember (see init()-method in form SalesEditLines).
Regards,
Heinz
Hello Hala,
I took another look at the picture you provided and I noticed you are also missing a 'Select' button.
On a scale from 1 to 327, how sure are you that this is not an authorization issue? This has entry points written all over it.
no I meant i found 'AllowEdit option = yes'. I still have the same issue!
Is everything work as it should now?
Hi Boris,
I have AllowEdit option = Yes
Hi Hala,
Can you just confirm what Kaled said, is it set to No in AOT > Table: SalesParmUpdate > field: SpecQty :
AllowEdit option=No?
Boris,
The Edit contents checkbox is already checked for the Quantity and Posting.
We have only one administration, and this happens to everyone in the company. It's showing the same thing no matter who is posting the packing slip.
Does it only happen to you or are other uses affected as well? If it's just you, then Galyna's suggestion is a good one.
Do you have multiple administrations and if so, does it happen in all companies?
Are you set up as a worker and/or as an employee?
Aleks,
The behavior was the same for all sales orders. the field is greyed out. the field behavior is the same as before and there wasn't a time where it used to behave differently. In the AOT, the table is not bold.
