This is inventory movement journal posted. But the cost price is zero here, when checked in inventory transactions it shows 298. why is it showing zero in movement journal? f1

how ever I'm suspect that the person who entered Movement journal, mistakenly typed 0.00 amount or entered cost amount prior to cost price.
Please check & update with your findings .

You may need to verify the cost amount on form (Line ) that can be affect the posting values.
Hi Naveen,
When entering the journal, AX uses the cost price known at that moment. If you have FIFO, LIFO or weighted average as costing method, AX will recalculate the inventory when you run the inventory closing or recalculation.
The date on the journals is from today. So the recalculation is a bit unlikely now...
