Automating Bulk Printing of TOs Packing Slips or/and selecting multiple TOs for printing

Posted on by 13
Hello D365 Community,

I am reaching out to seek advice on a challenge we're facing with our transfer order process. We need to reprint a significant number of transfer orders, including store-to-store transfers, and doing this individually is proving to be very time-consuming. Is there a way to streamline this process?

Specifically, we are looking to automate the printing of transfer order packing slips, either through a recurring batch job or in bulk for selected orders. The goal is to include all shipped transfer orders where the Warehouse ID starts with 'SMT' within a certain time range, and to have this done daily through an automated batch.

We have attempted to adjust the records to be included when printing, but the output has not been correct, and this issue persists across all available templates. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has insights on how to resolve this, your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Installed product version: 10.0.40 (10.0.1935.69)
Installed platform version: Update64 (7.0.7279.100)
Microsoft Edge for Business: Version 128.0.2739.63 (Official build) (64-bit)

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

Bank

    Dear Laurens van der Tang,

Thank you for your suggestion, the filtering options works but the output is not in the right format (e.g. the barcodes are merged together).

We managed to solve this question, by creating a new template in the Docentric AX workspace. With the help of the new template and the filtering options we can print multiple packing slips at once.

    Hello Bank,

Could you retry it with the following query?

This query selects all the warehouses starting with 'SMT' and with a posting date starting from now until the upcoming 30 days.

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang
