Recurring customer free-text-invoice cannot be posted (button greyed out)

Dear all

we have an issue with posting the recurring free text invoices. We created it according to the provided manual from Microsoft.

When we open the free text invoice the button “Post” is greyed out and not clickable.

We checked everything we could think of that would be a cause to this issue, but so far we have not found it. Is it possible that we are missing some setup, that we are currently not thinking of? 

We managed to post the invoice with the recurring invoice lines (it gets sent to the batch queue first, but it will be posted eventually). But for us it would be of more use if we were able to post the invoices directly in the free text invoices overview.

    Hi Katy,

    Please check if  there is Free text invoice work flow in place? Does the user has admin rights or any restricted rights?

    What is the AX build number that you operate?

    Do you have any modifications in your environment that could be responsible for this?

    What role do you have?

    Do you have a role assigned that allows you posting invoices?
