Installing Tools in a Test Company

Is there a way to get around Microsoft CustomerSource credentials to install tools?

One specific example is the Historical Inventory Balance Report and the Historical Inventory Balance Report Reset Tool which has to be installed. When I was trying to install these, I realized that it requires Microsoft CustomerSource access to do so.

Would these externally installed tools work with a test company or does it require the live info?

Sure, they won't care what company you're using.

Will these tools download and function normally in a test company?

It shouldn't require credentials to install the reports and reset tool, but you do need CustomerSource credentials to actually download them in the first place
