Collections Management 12.0 cannot email multiple invoices

Collections management will  not email multiple attachments.  Even though Collection Main shows the correct ID that is set up with "attach invoices", it only attaches one invoice, the first in the list and it is a Word document instead of the PDF that is set up in the Collections Set Up window.  Any Help out there please????

thanks so much!

have a wonderful, blessed day!!

As an FYI - Ben's answer resolved this same issue for me.  Linked to a corrupted invoice layout.

    Hello Susan,

    Thanks for your post.

The good news is you are able to e mail through Collections, which is a good step towards resolving your ability to e mail multiple attachments.

By your following statement “it only attaches one invoice, the first in the list and it is a Word document “, I am assuming that you are currently using word templates when completing this process.

    I

To be able to attach PDF Invoices when using Collections, you will need to select the following file format in the Collections Setup window:

    • Adobe PDF Writer (If you own it, then you will be able to select the file format “Adobe PDF” to e mail PDF Invoices)

    • Text (if you don’t own Adobe PDF Writer, you will be able to attach PDF Invoices by ensuring that the GP Templates pertaining to these invoices are enabled and further more by ensuring that you are using the latest build of Collections Management.

      GP 2013 (Version 12 Build 61)

      GP 2010 (Version 11 Build 99).

You will be able to access your build of Collections by going to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Sales > Collections About

    II

You will also need to make sure you have Dexterity Shared Components installed

    III

If you have this setup in place and you are able to successfully e mail multiple attachments with the original GP Templates, but not with your modified GP Templates, then the issue lays with the modified templates that will need to be corrected.

    III.1

In case you are currently using the invoice folder located in the Collections Setup window, then you will need to make sure all invoices saved in that folder are respective of the naming convention <InvoiceNumber>.<ext> (12345.PDF )

    I hope this helps

    Thanks

    Ben
