Good morning
I've noticed that if I use a configuration package on table 365 where I have all the possible fields ticked, the Entry Number field in Excel is showing a zero. I have previous exports of data where that field did have the entry number. I have deleted and re-created my Analysis View definition but still the entry number is zero.
Has anyone else come across this please?
Thank you
Great work and again good catch!
Hello Marco
I just kept at it as it did not make sense to me and so I tried various options and then saw that the difference in the compression choice brought back different results.
Regards
Hello,
Great work, that is good to know. How did you figure that out? I don't recall that to be listed in our docs.
Thanks.
Hello Marco
I have done further testing on this and I've discovered that if the Date Compression is set to "none" then an entry number is visible in the table.
That closes this topic
Thank you for your time.
Hello,
If you have a repro in Dynamics NAV 2015 where entry numbers are not "0" while this is now changed to "0", then feel free to raise it as an issue and we will look into it.
Thanks.
Good morning Marco
That is happening to me now, but I have earlier extracts from Nav 2015 where the entry number in the 365 table was the same as the entry number in the General Ledger Entries table.
I'm wondering if something has been changed in this recent version of BC where the entry number is now being reflected as zero.
That is what I'm trying to establish.
Thank you
Hello,
When I generate records in that table, the source for entry number are also all "0". Export via rapid start will also show zeros.
Thanks.
