    look at class ProdUpdHistoricalCost_Process

       if (prodTable.inventTable().PmfProductType != PmfProductType::MainItem
            && (qtyGood + qtyError == 0
                || (qtyGood == 0
                    && (prodParmHistoricalCost.ScrapMethod ==  ProdScrapMethod::Allocation
                        ||  prodTable.inventTable().modelGroup().inventModelType().stdCostBased()))))
        {
            throw error("@SYS76448"); your error
        }

    Two things might have happened where you cant end a production order.. See if you have any jobs that have not been transferred and is in registrations tables.  Please delete them and run the production end

    * If you have rescheduled the production order the new job numbers would get created making the old ones has Orphan records. Please see the same in the registrations table to check if you have any jobs with the production order.

    * Please journals manually and end those jobs if you have any open.

    Hi,

    Is there a proper procedure for ending a production order when there is no Good Quantity report, only Error Quantity?

    If your Inventory model is 'Standard Cost', I have not heard of a solution.

    Hi Guy !

    Do you have any way to END Production Order when Good quantity is 0 ? We use FIFO

    Work around... RAF a quantity, make sure cost is 0, end it and use a movement journal to remove it from inventory. Also mark the inventory transaction.

    If it is a repeating occurrence, then go investigate further...

    Thanks Fredrik, that is the way how we make this now (we use scrap instead of movement journal). I though that there will be some automatic feature which will cause same functionality as mentioned but after typing 0 in goodqty and rest in errorqty. Probably will make modification in this area.

    But why do you have orders that result in 0 qty? Are you planning to produce something you don't need?

    Hi Fredrik

    I need to RAF and End Production order.

    Every month we run close inventory

    Almos every our production order is made over 30-60 days. Sometimes we need to close Production order which were not completed but has transactions in closed month (and then I cannot delete Production order) and this is the reason to use that.
