Prevent a Sales Order creation/Shipping if credit limit is exceeded

I'm trying to prevent/stop a sales order to be created or Shipping if the credit limit is exceeded.

I'm looking for a proactive solution in business central so that the user does not have to have the awkward moment AFTER taking the customer's order or shipping the sales order to let them know they've exceeded their credit limit.   I'd rather them know BEFORE taking the customer's order or shipping.

I have the same question (0)

BC will show notification, if it is enabled in notifications, if credit limit exceeds.

    Hi,

In Sales & Receivable Setup, inside General FastTab, set the Credit Warnings field as per your needs.

Also, in Customer master in General FastTab, you will need to define your Credit Limit.

This will give the result as Mohana suggested.

Let me know if you need help!
