Creation of automatic transfers

Hi

We're having single inventory warehouse supplying 3 other inventory warehouses.

What we need is away to automatically create transfers from the supply warehouse to the other 3 based on their min/max levels. Is there away to do this in standard AX2012R3?

Thanks

    HI Harold Turner,

You can use item coverage to setup your min max levels and base on the setup master planing will trigger plan transfer orders.

Please refer to this video organicax.com/.../minmax-coverage-in-master-planning for details.

So for the three demand warehouses you could set the refill warehouse to be your supply warehouse. If it is not always true do it at an item level. Then when you set your item coverage you define your destination warehouse, define the minimum stock and then the refill as transfer order from the refill warehouse.

Run planning and if it sees demand (lots of other potentials here) it will suggest a transfer order.

The transfers have been created but they are all individual is there away to collate them into a single transfer per warehouse rather than having multiple transfers per warehouse?

Grouping should be done in the firming controls - once formed that is the "grouping" you have decided upon.
