Bill to Not working if the sales order Created from Blanket sales Order

Hi All

We have the following  case 

1-We using the blanket sales order function 

2-we create Blanket sales order as below screen

3-Create Sales order from that blanket sales order

4-Tried to change the Bil to , to another customer But we getting below error

My understanding from the error ,change the Bill to , to another customer for sales order that is created from Blanket sales order is not working 

Please advice

    Normally you would have one blanket order per. customer. Is there a specific business requirement that makes that approach troublesome?

    I have not tried it myself. But maybe you can try to change the customer no. on the blanket order before you create the sales order?

    Hi, yes I did the same test with the same result.

    And if you have already created an order, you cannot change the Bill-to on Blanket Order.

    Sorry I don't have a development license now, so I can't check the source code, but I think when using Blanket Order, the system requires that the Bill-to of the order must be the same as the Bill-to of Blanket Order.

    Samer,

    That is standard NAV logic behind a Blanket Sales Order creating a Sales Order. The link between the Blanket and Sales Order must be the same. You cannot change the Bill-to on the Sales Order as the Blanket does not reflect this. Not sure why you would not have the Bill-to updated on the Blanket before creating the Sales Order. Is their a reason why not?
