Bank Statement Import

Hi All,

I'm trying to import bank statements using Yodlee bank feeds but when I run the Import Bank Statement on Bank Reconciliations it does not pull all transactions. Just 7 days prior.

I reinstalled Yodlee and tried to resynch but still get the same issue.

I'm trying to pull statements for the past 30 days.
I have the same question (0)

That's a common issue with Yodlee and certain banks, and there is no work around. Essentially, if that's the case for your bank then Yodlee can work if you reconcile transactions frequently using the payment reconciliation journal. But if you only reconcile once at month end, it won't really work. For this reason I prefer to setup bank statement imports from a csv file. If you would like to do that, I wrote a blog post about it here

    Hi Zhu,

I tried re-running it after changing the amount of days to 60 but it still only pulls 7 days prior.

Any idea? Or is it a bug as Valentin mentioned?

As far as I know that setting won't change anything as meant for something else. The problem is in how many days of historical transactions the bank makes available. In your case its 7 and it can't be changed in Business Central.

In my experience, when you open your bank account and look at a preview of the transactions, it typically shows a limited range, such as 7 days, 1 week, or 2 weeks. This preview reflects the transactions available for Yodlee to pull into the system—it’s not the full database of all transactions that are available to be pulled into the system.

    Thanks Valentin,

It also appears that it previously did work being able to pull 30 days or more of bank statements. But recently it stopped working.

Also, are there any other options other than Yodlee bank feed that may work for this?

Yodlee working and then not working is another common issue, as mentioned in similar posts on the forum. You could explore third-party apps on Business Central’s AppSource for other options, but from what I've seen, most people are either using Yodlee or importing bank statements via CSV files. Maybe other users will have more insight into other options they’re using.

The only settings that can be modified in BC are the ones I mentioned.
If this cannot be solved, it should be a limitation of Yodlee or the bank itself. You can submit a SR to Microsoft about this and have them check the issue.
Or as Valentin mentioned, manual import is also an option.

    Thanks.
