Microsoft CRM Online - Outlook Client and BIDS Report Cannot Connect

I am having an issue with my main PC that impacts my ability to use the CRM Client for Outlook as well as create Fetch-based reports using Visual Studio 2008 with the report authoring extensions.

CRM for Outlook stopped working and at the same time I had an issue connecting to CRM from the reporting tool.  I uninstalled the Outlook client, the reporting extensions, and the Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant.  I then reinstalled the Outlook client and the extensions and still have the issue.

When I create a dataset that uses a CRM data source, I get the following error:
Could not load type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.Client.OnlinePolicyConfiguration' from assembly 'Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.
----------------------------
An authentication error occurred while connecting to server "https://hero.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc". Make sure that the connection string and credentials are correct, and try again.

Creating the same data source and dataset on another machine with the same instance of CRM online works just fine.

If I try to configure the CRM client for Outlook, I get a very similar error:
CRM Configuration Error

Please remove the Proxy settings ( remove PAC file ) and use automated settings for IE

    Thanks,

Hi Mohammad - thank you so much for replying!

Can you expand on that a little though?  I'm not familiar with a PAC file or the proxy settings mentioned and not sure how IE settings would impact the Outlook client or BIDS?

    Thanks,

    Len

    Proxy: support.microsoft.com/.../135982

    PAC: www.websense.com/.../h_pac_file.aspx

The best way to skip the Proxy settings and to make sure this is not proxy is to use the Fiddler Tool available at www.fiddler2.com/fiddler2

Once you run the Fiddler and try to reproduce the issue , if you are not getting the same eror than it is proxy issue

    Thanks,
