Withholding tax payment error India localization

Hello Expert,

I am getting below error when i run the withholding tax payment. in d365. Kindly advice.

    Hi Sand143,

    Have you run the settlement already?  If not please check the settlement periods whether it is set to quarterly or monthly frequency.  If settlement is already executed use the option of "Latest Correction" at Withholding tax payment version field to mitigate the error.

    I have found the root cause. We have filed the TDS returns and updated the token number for period  by mistake due to this system is not accepting the withholding tax payments for period. We have logged the ticket to MS for  fix
