Opening folders in SharePoint Document location stuck on 'Loading records'

After upgrading to 2016 when I try to open a folder that is in a Document Location in SharePoint, it hangs on the 'Loading records' with the spinning wheel. All other files open correctly and if I click 'Open Sharepoint' I am able to view the contents of the folder.

    I've isolated the problem to only Internet Explorer 11. This behavior does not exist in Chrome or Edge

    I love when I answer my own question :)

    Needed to update the List Component to the latest version.

    I stumbled upon another issue however, where after uploading a new folder or file, the Document window doesn't immediately refresh so the user cannot see that they've successfully uploaded a new file or folder. Once they click on the Refresh icon the items appear.
