Error using PSA !

Hi All,

We just started using PSA. When our team members are trying to book their hours with time entry the error ribbon says - "you don't have a resource record associated. Please contact the administrator to create a resource record."

We have followed all of the steps and not sure on what scenario this error pops up ?

1. Created a project.

2. Assigned team member.

3. Used work down break structure to include a task and associate the above team member with certain hours.

SO not sure what exactly are we missing here

Hello,

I believe you should create a resource record with "User" type and populate "User" lookup.

Hi Andrew,

As I mentioned in Step 2, I created a bookable resource with user lookup and that is the one used to add as a team member.

Hey Thomas! Unfortunatelly I don't have any screenshots available.

What I found out, though, is that if I assign the user full permission on "Resource" and "Resource Category" the user is able to use PSA's functionality again.

Didn't have time to narrow down further, but it may be worth investigating.
