Unable to add Posts from Timeline control.

I am able to add "Posts" from Timeline control with System Administrator but with a custom role I cant see the Posts option in the dropdown in the Timeline control. I can see the "Posts" when I switch from Unified Interface to Classic CRM Interface. Am I missing priv.?

Hi Mohammed,

Have you made sure that your users have a security role that gives them privileges on the "Post" entity?
There are other entities you could look at, such as "Follow".

There are configuration entities such as "Post Configuration" and "Post Rule Configuration" but I'm not sure end-users need privileges on them.

Hi Henry,

The user has priviledges on Post and Follow. Havent checked with Post Configuration and Post Rule Configuration which is unlikely to have any impact. However the fact remains that when I switch back to classic interface, the "Post" option shows up naturally.

- Update: It works by just adding "Read" priv. on "Post Configuration".
