Generate Capacity Reservation on Production Schedule (Without prior planning)

I have just a quick an easy question related to capacity planning on production resources. It is possible to generate/plan capacity reservation on production orders that are not created through planned orders or on production orders created with planned orders but created before configuring the capacity reservation parameters?

It seems that the system only generates capacity reservation when coming from planned orders being not possible to generate it on production schedule. Maybe I miss some parameter.

    Hello Pedro,

    Capacity should be reserved for the production orders once they have been scheduled.

    At the production order, view capacity reservation I do not see any reserved capacity. Also there a MRP plan should be selected so it looks like that Capacity Reservation is linked to planning.

    Hi Pedro,

    Yes, it is possible to generate/plan capacity reservation on production orders that are not created through planned orders

    If you have job scheduled any production order, then you should have these reservations auto created for every production job/operation.

    Thanks Oleksiy, I had also another conversation open in Yammer. Finally I found that the production routes values (time and units per time unit) are not updated on the production routes once the production order is created. Also not when I use the function Update Routes there. By updating the values manually it works.
