Discounts are not copying while using Copy All functionality in Sales Quotation in AX 2012 R3

Hi All,

I created sales quotation header after that i tried to copy the lines using Standard Copy functionality.

But when i copy the lines using the copy functionality

if any discount or discount percent exist it is not copying in to new lines.

Is there any setup is there for discount and discount percent copy to new lines.

Please guide how to achieve this?

Hello Krishna,

The standard copy functionality is the 'copy from all' function, right?

Or do you refer to a different, possibly modified copy functionality?

Hello Krishna,

The standard copy from all functionality copies discounts and discount percents that you recorded at the sales order line level. If this is not the case, this might be caused by a bug or because of a system modification.

What's your AX version? Have you checked LCS already for an available hotfix?

Hi Ludwig,

In Sales orders the discount and discount percent are properly copying.

But in Sales Quotations it's not copying.

Is there any setup is available?

Hi Krishna,

I double checked this in an R3 CU10 system where the copy functionality works properly. Do you work on a older version?

What selection have you made in the copy from form?

Hi,

Can you check whether checking the copy precisely check box makes any difference?

If this is not the case, I would recommend that you check LCS for an available hotfix or ask a developer for some help to debug.

Hi,

In Ax2012 R3 cu8 also its copying Discount and discount % to new lines .

Make sure no code modification.
