FA - weird transaction

Hi All,

I'm scrapping the FA.  As a result, my asset account = 0.  The Loss acct  = NBV which is correct.  This extra transaction caused my FA not reconciled.   

Acc. Depreciation       debit

Depreciation expense            credit.  

If I dont' have this transaction above, my FA is reconciled.  I'm not sure where this is coming from. 

Please shed some light into this issue.  Thanks!!!

    Hi Kim Johnson,

    Can you check your fixed asset posting profiles?

    There might be too many posting lines setup and one of them triggers this additional posting that you do not want to have.
