    Hi Abood,

I am using MS D365 Online and I want to delete some records or rows from POA so that I can able to minimize the size. Can You tell me the steps to do that?

    Hi,

As others said POA table stores sharing / access data and you never delete anything with SQL commands.

But it also has some buggy structure (in MS CRM 2011), sometimes platform does not remove sharing record when you remove share or delete main entity.

One of my customers was having similar problem with POA table in CRM 2011. We delete buggy rows from table with SQL commands with Microsoft Support (PFE) team's help.

Maybe you should contact them about this issue.

    Sorry

but you haven't mentioned in your post that you want to know how to delete and asked what will be if you deleted that data.

Also you haven't mentioned in post that you're online.

So I believe I answered your question ;)

PrincipalObjectAccess table store the sharing/access details of the record. There is mask value which specifies what all rights does a user/team has on a record.

Deleting record in table is unsupported and can cause unexpected behavior in CRM.

What is the purpose you are looking for deleting the records?

The better way to be unshare the record from user level sharing and start using access team/team ownership to control security.

    Thanks,

    PS

Based on the function of records in those table you will delete all the shares done. Check this thread for additional clarifications - community.dynamics.com/.../218848
