Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

New O365 users are created in CRM with Field Service - App Access role

Hi

When my IT department creates a new O365 users and assigns different licenses but not any CRM licenses the users is still created in CRM with a Field Service – App Access role. Any suggestions what license in O365 that does this? Perhaps it’s related to Enterprise Mobility + Security E5?

    Hi, I have noticed that Field Service -App Access and Customer service - App access roles in CRM only gives READ permissions on "model driven app". I am suspecting it is because they must have assigned PowerApps license to users. Perhaps "PowerApps for Office".

    Can you check with your O365 admin team.

    Another reason may be that your Dynamics 365 is linked with office 365 portal where you're also managing the users and whichever Microsoft enterprise mobility suite plan you're using like EMS E5 so that is why this may be happening.
