We have just done a new GP client installation. Before the installation, all users were able to access analytical accounting without any problem. However, after the installation, users are getting an error that 'Number of results columns doesnt match table definition'
I suspect the client installation could have been on a different version build. How can i resolve this issue?
Regards
Patrick

Jivtesh, Leslie,
We did new client installations and synchronised the versions. This worked out.
Many thanks

Jivtesh, Leslie,
Many thanks. I will use your suggestion and let you know how it goes.

Patrick,
I received this error and checked the table definition in Dex. My problem was that the table was supposed to have the new TimeStamp column, but it did not. I exported the information, went into SQL utilities in Dynamics and then dropped and recreated the table. I imported the data back in and all was well.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Are all the users getting the error now ? What version of GP do you have on the server, and what version was installed on this new PC ? You can check the version from Help Icon | About Microsoft Dynamics GP
If you are just getting this error on this new client, uninstalling it on the client and installing the correct version should do the trick.
