I need to relate four fields on my contact form(country, state, district, city). Specific country should only show related states, specific state should show only related districts and specific district should only show related cities.

I tried to achieve it using cascading lookup but I can only relate my state and district. How can I do the needful? Please Help.

    Hello Anu,

You can easily implement this using filtered view, you can setup four different entity for country, state, district and city, and then can setup 1:n relationship between related entities for example 1:n country and state, 1:n state and district and 1:n district and city.

then you need to setup relationship between your contact entity and all other entities, so you need to make sure that you should get lookup of every related entity in contact so it should be 1: n relationship between your country or state or district or city and contact ( for example country and contact (1:N).

After that place all of your lookup fields over contact form and set property of state, district, city lookup to show related records only based on previous selected lookup value. something like below (this is example of to show only event related to account selected in Event organizer lookup

    Hey Mahender

Thanks for replying. I did same but I am not able to relate my district and city. Every time I save related records filtering dialog and open it again to see if it is saved properly, the related records filtering show default value not my saved values. Please help.

It looks very strange, I just created this setup I am not facing this type of issue, which CRM version you are using, is it updated with latest rollup ??

Are you using on premise deployment if yes, just try to do iisreset and then try to it again.

Should 4 entity be created to achieve this?

Is there any JavaScript way to achieve the same.

Because, I have to map 10+ different fields that have to be mapped to 10+ different fields.

Example : When user selects ABC1 from lookup, then it should populate A7.

When user selects ABC2 from lookup, then it should populate B7.

    Similarly , 10 times .

Please let me know if you need any additional questions.

Above option is just to provide filtering of the lookup option it won't set the value, you have to set value manually, but you can do that using java script and have your matrix defined where you can check condition like if it is equals to ASC1 send A7.

    Thanks

Is your second screenshot correct?  It's filtering on "Created By" rather than a city or district.
