As of this morning (Mon 23rd Oct 2023) when I try and debug my AL extension (that was working on Friday 20th Oct 2023), I'm getting: 'This AL extension version for Visual Studio Code cannot be used with the specified server. Please update the AL extension from the Visual Studio Code marketplace.'

However, Visual Studio Code marketplace is not offering any updates? Please advise?
I have the same question (0)

Hi, I also had this problem yesterday, and it was solved after installing v13 of AL Language.
It seems that this has something to do with the environment. Not all colleagues around me have encountered this problem.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

    Morning,
I had exactly the same error, so updated the AL Language extension, down, restarted VS Code, downloaded symbols, build and publish my extension from VS Code and now getting the help message "Error - an internal error has occurred"

[2023-10-24 08:06:33.42] Important: Extensions that have been published from Visual Studio Code are removed when the environment is updated or relocated within our service. For more information, see this article on sandbox environments https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2153804 .
[2023-10-24 08:06:40.12] Error: An internal error has occurred

Deploying from Extension Management, I get the failed message

Package validation failed due to the following error(s): Error AVS0109: The per-tenant extension (or one of its dependencies) cannot be deployed as it has missing dependencies or the dependencies are conflicting with currently installed apps. Check if these dependencies are installed. - Job Id : 8d7868e9-0d49-49c1-b2d8-830bff36e01

It was working without issue until yesterday morning.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks for your responses. Does this mean that Microsoft got things out of step? Did they release a Business Central upgrade over the weekend which rendered it incompatible with the current live version of the AL language?

I got this error today and if all other suggestions don't work, downgrade the AL extension version to 12.
