We have a customer who recently switched to Office 365. I went in and changed their setting from MAPI to Exchange. They were able to log in but when they click Send to e-mail on a document, it opens a Compose window. It used to open a new outlook window and we would like it to do that now. I have looked at all of the settings and nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

The main requirement is actually that you can only use MAPI if you have 32-bit Office installed. If you're using 64-bit Office then you must use the Exchange option.
Lucas,
I was under the impression that you could only use Exchange with Office 365. Can you use MAPI with it?
Hello,
When you use MAPI it means that your e-mail relies on an e-mail client, like Outlook, which is why you get an Outlook Compose window. When you select the Exchange server type Dynamics GP is going to be sending the e-mail payload directly to an Exchange web service endpoint. Since that doesn't use the Outlook client there is a Dynamics GP compose window that has been created to allow similar functionality, but as you've seen it isn't an exact copy of Outlook in terms of look or functionality. If you prefer the Outlook window you will need to switch back to the MAPI server type.
