Specific Security Role Permission to View/Edit Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Hi,

I want Non-Project Managers (Account Managers and Project Resources) to be able to view and edit a project's WBS.

Right now the workaround we are doing is giving them the Project Manager security role. Though this addresses the requirement, it's not a very clean solution and it allows them to do other things beyond their scope.

Have tried to manually edit the Project Resource and Account Manager security role and give them all permissions I could think of but haven't found the right one yet.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for the reply. The problem though is I can't seem to find the specific permissions to allow the user to view the WBS.

Tried giving full access to anything Project Service related I could find but to no avail.

You could create a new security role and just allocate the specific permissions you want to grant to users to that role. That's probably the easiest solution for you
