Multiple Lines _ Job Title

Hello,

I am using NAV 2013.

On Customer Contact - Name Detail page, how can I select multiple Job Title for one person. Because the Customer Contact may have 2 or 3 titles. For example, PhD, MBA, CPIM for one person
Right now, I can only select one for one person. I hope there is multiple lines for Job Title.

I can access to Object Designer. Thank you!

If you want it to be visible on Contact Card, you would need customization. First of all, as there might be many titles, you will not be able to show them in one field; so you will need to show in this field just one (default) value, e.g., the first value. Or, you would need to organize additional section with a pagelist where you will show all the titles, as e.g. in the Lines section of the same Contact Card.

In the future, if you would like to query Contact Job Responsibilities and will use standard tables, address to table 5067 "Contact Job Responsibility". It maps Contact No. with certain Job Responsibility.

Thank you. I know this "No. of Job Responsibilities". What I need is to make the Job Responsibilities visible on Contact Card.

Job Responsibilities/Title: PhD

MBA

In the future, if I want to query the Contacts with Job Responsibilities/Title, which table should I use? I will need the contacts with all titles.

There is No. of Job Responsibilities already available in standard NAV (on the Contact card, not on the Name card). I suggest to use that one to assign multiple job responsibilities, and it would not require customizations.

How can I assign multiple "Job Responsibilities" Code to one person ?

You cannot use this particular field for your purpose (at least, without customization). So far I do not see a need in customization. The idea is that one person can have one job title in the company. However, one person can execute several job functions, for that purpose there is No. of Job Responsibilities on the Segmentation pane of the Contact card - drill down there and you can add numerous job responsibilities.

Also, PhD, MBA, etc. what you write about - it is actually not a job title or even job responsibilities, it is the personal titles of that contact person. This can be filled in the Lines of the Contact Card.
