Posted on by 25

I am failing to add modules into the main window using the drag and drop method so that whatever module is on the left column is also displayed on the right when a user log in Microsoft Dynamics SL7

Please help

You start with a new group in "Menu for Group" and then work your way to build the desired menus.  With the new group selected, the toolbar at the top of Menu Maintenance (98.350.00) should then get enabled.  Then you should be able to drag & drop as well.

I do find this screen's interface to be bit weird.  I think the SL team should revisit this screen from usability perspective.  I did see some improvements in SL 8 around the menus; haven't got my hands on the bits just yet!  Can't wait!!!
