PO Packing slip invoice issue

We have a question on invoice associated with packing slips. For example, there were 3 packing slips for an item in a purchase order:

July 10 3,000 PCS

July 22 2,000 PCS

August 5, 2000 PCS

When we post an invoice with a quantity of 3,000 PCS, we found that the invoice transaction is associated with August 5 packing slip (2,000 PCS), then July 10 (1,000 PCS), or maybe July 22 (1,000 PCS). Invoice seems always posted with the most latest receipt. We thought the oldest packing slip shall be invoiced first.

Does anyone know whether this is normal or maybe it is a bug? We use Axapta 3.0 SP5. Thanks!

Its a bug of Ax 3.0. but MS says this bug has been removed on sp6.0. I have also faced like this prob then we decided that we would take one PO-> one Packing Slip -> One Invoice... Then after the procedure is going smoothly. We were using AX 3.0 with sp 4.0.
