Master Planning & Planned Orders to Firm

Buddies,

i have three queries regarding Master Planning. let me explain my environment. we create Sale Order and then use master plan to produce planned order so we can firm it for production module to produce garments. we run MP by select item code of specific sale order. we dont use MP for purchase order creation.

my queries are:

1. how can we run Master Plan on specific Sale Order ? rather than to choose each item one by one.

2. when run Master plan on any garments items, it also brings planned orders for relevant BOM items. we actually dont need it.

3. right now i am running MP on an item. coverage successfully complete but there is no planned orders available to firm with that specific Sale Order. whereas there is other Planned orders available for the same item but for other sale orders. why it is missing specific sale order item to plan?

I will really appreciate for the Prompt Reply of AX gurus.

Dear Kamran Jilani ,

Same requirement cannot be achived as it is. But you get near by results. Changes made in setup may help you.

Try to coverage code

1. Requirement.

2. Master plan setup

can you please elaborate further about Requirement and Master plan setup and configuration. I am not that much expert in production and master plan module.
