Hi,

Im looking at my system jobs page. There I see that one of my workflows just keep trying to update records. I've tried to deactivate the workflow, and delete the account but noting happens. It keeps update every minute with several attempts. How can stop the workflow or systemjob from keep trying to update?

Hi Affe123,

It sounds like the workflow is recursively calling itself. This can happen if, for example, the workflow actions change a field that is in the list of fields that trigger the workflow.

Try inserting a Stop Workflow step at the beginning of the workflow, then activate the workflow. The next time an existing system job calls the workflow, it should do nothing, breaking the loop.

Once you have stopped the workflow from generating new system jobs, you can cancel or bulk delete any system jobs that are not completed.
