I want system give the option to select no series while i convert sale quote into sale order, what happened when i converted sale quote into sale invoice, system used no series that i setup in sales and receivable setup under sale order no.series. I want when i convert sale quote into sale order system ask no series selection for sale order, how this will be possible.
Well, it is, of course, convenient based customization.
While a Sales Order is been assigned with a No. Series, call your code which will be a function that will return no. series. In this function, Lookup to the no. series page and ask the user ( Popup No Series setup page) for the No. series that they want, return it to your function. Assign this No. Series to No. Series of Sales Order.
You will have to debug and check where the No. Series is getting assigned and use Publisher and Subscriber to call your method there (since you are calling this method in the standard code)
